Michele CalvinMichele Hayes Calvin, 64, went home to be with the Lord, July 8, 2018 after a brief, but courageaus battle wityh cancer.Michele was born in Jamestown, NY and resided in Latham. She graduated from Shenendahowa High School and worked at Albany City Hall and at NYS Dept. of Disability and Aging for over 29 years.Michele loved stamp collecting, crafting, and watching Gilmore Girls.Michele was the daughter of the late Thomas H. Calvin of Debary, FL. She is survived by her loving mother, Patricia (Cincotta) Calvin of Debary, FL., her aunt; Deborah Clancy of Penn Yan, NY. Two sisters; Candace E. Calvin and Susan Stanley (James) both of Saratoga Springs, NY. Brother; Thomas M. Calvin (Kitty) of Deland, FL. And many nieces and nephews.A Memorial will be held at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 275 State Street, Albany, NY on Saturday, July 28th, at 10 am.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of North Eastern New York, 3 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205.
