Michael D. Smyers

Troy- Michael D. Smyers, 58, passed away on January 7, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Michael was born in Globe, Arizona to Carl Smyers and the late Josephine Tompkins Smyers.

Michael was self-employed as a contractor in Troy.

In addition to his father, Carl, he is survived by his step-mother Rose Mary Smyers. Michael is also survived by his loving siblings Kenda Butterfield, Kenneth Smyers, and Dean Smyers, his nephews Anthony Smyers, Christopher Delaney, and Sam Butterfield, and his faithful K-9 companions. Family and friends are invited and may call from 10 AM-11 AM on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at St. Michael’s Church, 175 Williams Road, Troy, NY 12180. Funeral mass will follow calling hours at 11 AM at the church. Funeral arrangements by John H. Clinton Funeral Home, now located at the Wynantskill Funeral Home.
